Museums play a substantive role in preserving the past for current and future generations, teaching us that every generation can benefit from the idealism of those who will inhabit our planet after we are gone. The AAM preserves and provides access to the proposition and historical evidence that the “American story – indeed the story of humanity – is a continuum which, if properly tended through the sharing of knowledge and experience, will never end.” Please visit www.aam-us.org to visit and experience the astounding efforts of the AAM in connecting generations. ![]() West Intergenerational Learning Center Seniors participate in middle school classes such as band, languages and art as well as volunteer in the classrooms and work with individual teachers on special projects.
